"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I'm a 56 year old college student majoring in Graphic Design, with a minor in Creative Writing. I have 4 children (14, 19, 26, 27), a wonderful and delightful fiance Rebecca, and live in the metropolis of Portland Oregon. I now attend Portland State University. My interests include photography, camping and other outdoor activities, as well as writing and a new interest in watercolor.

I woke up this morning and I was literally flooded by your wonderful comments. I was like "sheesh! " I just want to say Thank you so so much for all your kind words, attention and support! It especially feels good with other areas of my life not doing so well! Whenever I feel down or loose my way, direction in photography, painting or inspiration I always feel supported by you all and I want to thank you all for that. It really does make me feel good and loved and as a happy person I can produce art. (Now that I think about it being depressed works too, about that's another subject all together.) But ... I just want to say thank you for your love and appreciation because that's the biggest reward of all.
I shall try not to disappoint you and supply you with art that you will hopefully like !
